heutzutage werden meist Polyesterlacke oder div. 2 Komponentenlacke verwendet, doch nur Nitro hat diesen tiefen, edlen Glanz! Auch altert er mit dem Instrument, ist Teil des Instrumentes und seines Klanges! Nicht umsonst verwenden viele Hersteller hochwertiger Instrumente bis heute diese Art des Lackes.

Bei DSG wird nur mit Nitrolacken lackiert. Dies gilt für alle Lackarbeiten. Da die Verarbeitung von Nitrolacken sehr aufwendig und zeitintensiv ist, kann es hier, je nach Auslastung, zu langen Wartezeiten kommen. Habt bitte Verständnis dafür!

today most manufacturers use poly or 2K finishes, yet nitrocellulose laquer is the only finish with a shine this deep! It ages with the Instrument and is part of its feel and sound, while using poly/2K is more like covering it in plastic (that´s how I feel about it)! For that reason it is still used by quite a few high class makers and companies!

at DSG all finishing work is done with nirocellulose laquer. Using this kind of finish is a lot of work and very time consuming. Depending on the amount of finishing work I have to do it might take quite some time.
